Saturday School Scholarship Application

Merit-based Scholarships: Pre-College awards a limited number of $100 merit scholarships each semester. These awards are first come, first served and awarded to students demonstrating significant creative potential.

Need-based Scholarships: Pre-College awards a limited number of high need scholarships each semester; award amounts vary from partial to full tuition. These awards are first come, first served and awarded to students demonstrating significant creative potential and financial need.

All scholarship applicants must provide a portfolio.

Portfolio Requirements:
- Visual Art Students: 3–4 images of artwork made in the last year. This can include finished pieces, sketches or thumbnails in any medium you have worked in. Please note students with animation or film-based work can submit one media project in lieu of 3–4 images of artwork.
- Performing Arts Students: A recorded performance or monologue not to exceed three minutes.
- Writing Students: A piece of written work (fiction, poetry or creative nonfiction) completed within the last year. The piece should not exceed three pages in length and can be an excerpt from a longer work.

Additionally, all need-based scholarship applicants must provide information regarding your family financial circumstances for review, and may choose to upload IRS Form 1040 or a recent paystub to confirm your finances.
